BiocharCarbon Removal
Converting agricultural waste into stable soil carbon and community value.
The Subject
What is Biochar?
Biochar is a stable, carbon-rich material produced through the pyrolysis of biomass such as agricultural waste and woody residue in a low-oxygen environment.
Under ordinary conditions, crop residues either rot in fields or get burned openly, quickly releasing carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere. Pyrolysis locks this carbon into a solid, highly durable structure that remains stable in the soil for centuries.
Applied to agricultural land, biochar functions like a sponge. It increases soil porosity, retains water in dry periods, reduces fertilizer runoff, and fosters beneficial soil microorganisms.
Our Work
Services We Provide for Biochar
We assist project developers, farmer cooperatives, and local institutions from initial feasibility to operational field deployment.
Carbon Project Development / Consulting
We evaluate biomass availability, select and size appropriate flame-cap kilns, and structure projects to satisfy international carbon verification standards. We handle feedstock supply logistics, calculate baseline carbon sequestration, and prepare documentation needed to certify verified carbon removal credits.
Training
We deliver hands-on field workshops for farmer cooperatives, women's groups, and field technicians. Our training covers safe kiln assembly and operation, feedstock moisture control, controlled water quenching, biochar enrichment using organic slurries, and optimal soil application methods for regional crops.
