Sometimes innovation begins with very small everyday frustrations. The idea for the Biochar Air Freshener started from a simple observation at home. The founder’s mother frequently asked to buy ordinary air fresheners available in the market, but most options were disposable, non reusable, short lasting, and heavily chemical based. At the same time, while working deeply in the biochar and carbon removal space, we realized biochar itself has strong odor absorption and moisture control properties. This led us to ask a simple question: What if we could turn biochar into a reusable, climate friendly, and aesthetically pleasing air freshener?
